Pictuuures...
Jun. 30th, 2004 11:46 pmSorry about earlier...I posted my newest way to display a series of photos and I didn't explain much of anything...

I took my 4 favorite pictures of my favorite subject and glue-sticked them to cardstock (both the glue and paper were acid free, though I don't really care--I know nothing about that stuff).
I layed out how I wanted to hang them and poked holes accordingly. I used those little necklace clasp type things as shown...

(sorry it's so dim, the flash washed it out entirely though otherwise)
...and I used no-stretch nylon "bead string." I originally had a neat organized plan to thread small black beads to cover the knots after covering them in my favorite glue, Modge Podge, to make sure they didn't unravel. I got so frustrated trying to make the lengths of string perfect that I gave up and stuck the whole thing in my closet for a few weeks.
If you're going to try it, I reccomend hanging it up (I tacked the strings to my ceiling) and hanging each picture as you go to make sure it's even. I'm sure there's a nice way to measure it just right, but I wasn't up for that.
Hope that helped!
