A few days ago a friend of mine mentioned that she wanted a Saiyuki (anime) check book cover she found on e-bay. I thought it would be really neat to have a cool check book cover, myself, but I never stick with on theme for long, so I though, why not make one where you can change the picture? So I did. lol. It's kinda' rough around the edges, since this was my first attempt. I used some thin clear vinyl I got as a remnant at wally-world for the window on the front and I layered the plastic to make the tab on the top inside flap and the bottom flap for my duplicate checks. The window happened to get sewn on off-center (sewing vinyl is an interesting process) so I glued on some green crafty gemstones I had laying around. If anyone wants, I may try to make up some instructions sometime soon. Also, do you think these could be sold? I wouldn't know what to charge and I'd have to work out all the kinks, but I'm thinking about going to a craft show sometime in the future with a friend of mine. Anywho, just some thoughts...
