Hey you crafty-folk, I need some help,

I am a summer RA at a program at my local university where teens come to take classes and "experience" college life. Along with this is programming that all the RA's do. I am totally up for some crafty activities, but what is good for youths 15-17, males and females, that isn't any kind of tacky. basic to not so basic, also was thinking of wk-shops, such as m&p soap crafting, and knitting circle.
