patches anyone?

The other day I looked at my scooter and thought, "gee there sure is a lot of paint missing and a lot of scratches but there is no point in painting it because it will just get scratched again." So then I thought covering it with stickers would be cool...but I realized I don't have any stickers so I'd have to go buy them and that would be expensive. Then all of a sudden I remembered that I have 15 patches that I got when I used to work at one of those cheap mall accessorie stores several years ago that I have never used. So, I'm going to stick them to the scooter!

I have two obstacles in front of me though...first of all I need some more patches. Does anyone here have or know where I can get cheap patches? I looked on ebay and couldn't find anything worthwhile. I'm looking for patches of everything except bands and sports stuff.

The second obstacle is how to stick them on there...I've never done anything like this before. The places I would be putting them are plastic (where the paint has worn off), painted plastic, and metal.
