Long time, no post......
Jul. 4th, 2004 11:53 amBetween camera troubles and working my fingers off to get a few entries done for a local art show, I have been desperatly lacking in pictures.
All better now =)
Warning, lots of pictures behind cut.....
I call this lady the Sky Goddess. 90% peyote, 10% embrodery stitch. A soft eyelash yarn for the hair with blues, teals, purple, and silver stars through out. Silk embrodery ribbon to make her necklace...too much to really describe her.....

This is the (finally!) completed Fire Goddess. I've been working on her for months because inspiration kept fading away....but finally finished.
this is my first beaded tapestry and my first venture in quilting. I pieced the fabric together and lined it with a layer of fleece. I then did all the bead embrodery. I will definatly do it differntly next time, as I sewed the backing on after I finished the embrodery and turned in inside out.....I'm suprised the beading survived! Next time I'll just bind the edges....
(I plan to get more close-up pictures soon)
The words read "Sing in the rain, Dance in the Sun, Dream by the light of the moon."
Those 3 are going into the show...and I have a green goddess that I might get finished in time....
Here's a dragon I did a few months ago....havn't had time to do more of them. I'm wanting to make one in the fshion of the dolls, with a felt core instead of without a core......
Hope I didn't spam ya too much =)
