This weekend I made an attempt to use resin. It seems promising. My first mistake was not mixing well enough, and I ended up with a rubbery result, which is cool, but not what I was looking for. I have a question about suspending things in the resin. How do you keep it from sinking to the bottom? Can you suspend items (like say, a very large dead hornet) in it by going through two sessions? pour some, let it harden, then put the object in and pour over it? Will the two come together to make one seamless piece of resin?
