I am working on scarves for my whole family (parents, brother, sister and their significant others.)

The girls are easy, and my sister's boyfriend is into designer stuff so I'm doing his in black and hunter green. However, my dad and brother are notoriously simplistic and outdoorsy, so they're tough. I found the perfect solution for them!

Camouflage variegated yarn!

I started a scarf with it, but the yarn is so thin that it's taking forever and probably wouldn't be very warm. I unravelled it and started again using two strands together and it's so much better. The color gradients are more random like real camo and it's fluffier and faster. I'm all about the thick and quick.

I'm glad I went with the double strand later, but this gives you an idea.
