Beware of cherubs...

The post about the yard ornament squirrel reminded me of a project I did last Halloween.  We had just moved into our house, and the previous owners had left a couple cherubs in the yard.  I am not a cherub-y kind of person.  (In fact, said cherubs have since been replaced in our yard by two tikis and a gargoyle.)  So I decided to turn them into Halloween decorations...

And after some black spray paint and red acrylic paint, they looked like this:

They ended up looking so creepy in person that I decided not to put them on the porch after all.  I didn't want our new neighbors' little kiddies to freak out too much!  LOL
