Hello all of my crafty friends.

I browse the craftgrrl journal every day, but I am more of a browser than a poster. But considering it is raining today, I shall make a crafty post.

let me apologize in advance for some of the blurriness.

the first set of pics is of my room.
before it was blue and orange (the lines are painter's tape)

after it is very stripedy (ignore the yellow hue comming from my light (which is a plain lightbulb, not good for picture taking)

i also constructed 2 foam message boards and covered them with fun fabric. i made marble magnet and rhinestone tacks to use on the board.

i own a schwinn fairlady bicycle, but have always wanted to have a similar bike in green. so i purchased this bike on a garage sale for $5

after some unassembly, thorough cleaning, priming, painting, and reassembly, this is the bike almost finished:

i also reupholstered the seat with some color shifting vinyl i picked up at the local fabric store.

this is a stenciled shirt i made. on the back it says 'shake it'. a little out of season right now. i used metallic textile paint.

my mom bought a toaster, and it was really ugly looking, so i made her this toaster cozy. it was done freehand without any pattern.

beads were on sale at acmoore, so i purchased a bag and made two necklaces. the first is just the beads on wire, the second is the beads on copper wire which i borrowed from my brother, stripped, and made into the shape seen in the picture. they are attached by jumprings.

i do quite a bit of knitting and crocheting in my spare time. right now i am crocheting a giant granny square afghan from some red heart supersaver of course.

i am also starting an illusion knit scarf from this pattern. it is small right now, but i'll be sure to post the finished product.

i was in a back to school mood today, so i made this notebook cover. inspiration came from this picture. it is made of cardstock glued together. (ps. do not attempt to flatten something when the glue is not dried. it will result in ripping of paper, which happened here.)

finally, i painted this picture for an adopt-a-painter project we had at school. this is the painting i copied. Dali used oils, but there were none handy so my version is in acrylics. (sorry about the weird angle of the picture.)

i should also applaud all of you on your amazing crafty endeavors =)
