it's idea time!!

ok girls, ive got a piece of metal that used to be what made a lazy susan spin. it used to be part of a table- the top spun like a lazy susan.. know what im talking about? i was thinking of making a clock out of it, but the piece in the middle is like, welded in. what could i do with this? i dont want to throw it out.
