what can it be?
Jul. 27th, 2004 09:17 pmSo today, instead of cleaning, i've been playing with vinyl. i have some textured green vinyl that i wanted to do something with, so i made this:

1. make star stencil. with my stencil, each edge of the star is 1.5"
2.carefully cut your vinyl

3. put right sides together, sew all sides but one. i did this by hand because i don't want to destroy my machine too soon!

4. turn that sucker inside out.

5. stuff. i used the cheapest polyester fiber i could find, because i'm cheap.

6. carefully stitch the open edge
7. thats it!
so what can i do with it now? this is the first time i've made anything remotly plush, so i'd like it to have some use...maybe. at first it was going to be my new pin cushion:

but my cats REALLY like it.
