craftgrrlOKay so here is what I got so far for christmas...I got my nephews all taken care of. I got my mom all taken care of.
For my brothers wifes and my roommate, I was thinking of doing baskets, except for mine are in trash cans...lol..I knwo how bad that sounds...but these are little greyish/silver wire metal trash cans I picked up at Wal-mart. They have an awesome criss-cross design to them.
So I am going to put some personalized items in my roommates because she is also my best friend...stuff like home made bracelets, jewelry's, candies...etc...
but I do not really know my brothers wifes all too well. I mean not enough to go to the store and pink out the perfect gift for them. I was thinking of giving them each like a nice stationery set, some home made candles, some home made soap, maybe some home made chap stick (if I can ever find a kit), stuff like that. Is there anything else anyone can think of? Like do you think bath salts or something will be okay?
And I am fairly knew to the whole crafting thing, so i do not know what I will be able to make them. Meaning I am learnign how to crochet, cross-stich..etc still...so I need really basic stuff for that. What else do you think would be appropriate to stick in there?
Like they are both married to my brothers...around the same age...23-25ish...one has 4 kids and one had 1 kid. What are appropriate gifts? I mean I want it to be hand-made...so they see I actually do care...but I do not mind store bought stuff either....I just don't have a ton of money to spend...I would greatly appreciate some input here...thanks...
