Having been inspired by posts on this forum I decided a while back to try glass etching with Armor-Etch. It worked great and I made several different things. Unfortunately I gave them away for Mother's Day without taking pictures. Now I have a wedding present to make and I want to move on to "the next level" in etching. I have several pictures of some orchids that are like the ones used in the wedding. I want to use one of the pictures to etch the bottom of a glass plate. Now here's the part where I start grovelling.
Would anyone be willing to spend a few minutes to help me turn a picture into a stencil?
I plan to stick contact paper to the bottom of the plate and cut out the shapes to be etched. I know, I know, there have been a gazillion tutorials on the subject of stencil-making. But I have no graphics software available other than Paint and every time I try it looks crappy. Please please please? Maybe I can send some craft supplies your way or something? I'll be sure to take pictures this time and post them and give you credit too!
EDIT: I also thought about putting tall orchid stems around a tall cylindrical vase.
