With astonishingly good luck, I recently came across a very old, U.S. Navy uniform. It looks like this.

Anyway, it's made of wool and I decided it'd be a really cool jacket.

So, I cut it open down the center and I'm now wondering . . .

Will unhemmed wool do anything undesireable? Should I hem it?
