A new girl and a new purse!

Hi! I'm Katie and I'm 14. I've always wanted to try crafty things but I was never very good at the stuff you did at those daycamps. So I tried making a purse. I hand-sewed ALL of it, because the sewing machine and I have had issues in the past.

The purse. Belt strap!

The lining. I'm really proud of how that came out.

I buckled the belt before I sewed it.

I learned one thing from this: Sewing through a double-layer belt, a shirt, and thick jeans with a measly little needle is NOT easy. Ow.
