craftgrrlLookie, lookie! I made a quick kitchen craft! I was at a Garlic Festival last weekend (it's like a garlicy county fair) and they were selling garlic braids like this one for 25$. Ya, ya... they were organic, but I didn't care. I was not about to spend 25$ on garlic.
So... today I went to the local farmer's market and bought an 8$ braid of garlic and a 3$ bunch of straw flowers. The flowers weren't 100% dried yet, so they were perfect for me. I braided & tucked the flowers into my pre-made garlic braid et voilà! A pretty wall ornament for my kitchen!
Yay!
