Jewelry-Making Binge!
Aug. 17th, 2004 07:39 pmOK - so this is my first post... but I must say you all inspire me! Sooo... I felt the need to create (and have for a few days now) so thought I'd post the jewelry that's been keeping my fingers busy. Excuse the poor quality pics. Let me know what you think! (X-posted between my journal and
craftgrrl)
It's all here,
1. This is a glass piece I did with blue dichroic and some inlays of misc. scraps. The glass was fused in a kiln. All I had to do to finish it up was to route edges so I could lay in wire for hanging the glass as a pendant.

2. This is another glass piece. I did it with yellow dichroic and black inlays. Otherwise, same as above.

3. This is a hemp macrame piece I made from a bell my Mom hung around my rearview mirror in highschool.

4. This is a choker I made. It has a simple sun pendant. The beads are a black seed beed with a gold sheen.

You gals (and guys) are grrrrrrrrreat! I'm looking forward to sharing more work very soon!
