I was making a stencil, and in the process of cutting it out, I realized the left-over plastic made a really cool reverse(?) stencil. So I stuck it to my door and spray painted around it.

See:

Now I want to do the same thing on a shirt.
Is there a spray version of fabric paint?
I don't want to just paint around the edges. I want it to have the same look as the one on my door.
I considered just spattering paint around it, but I really want a very fine spray, not big globs of paint.
I realize that the obvious answer is just to spray paint on a shirt, but I'm really looking for an alternative to that method.

Help the fishy!
