My very first soap ever!

craftgrrlI made 34 soaps today and will make about 14 more tomorrow that will go in gift baskets with other various handmade gifts for Christmas gifts. Here is a photo of the different ones I made...

The ones in the middle are Oatmeal, milk and honey scent with real oatmeal in them, the red ones are Red Apple scent with gold shimmery glitter, the gold ones on the other side are Almond scent with gold shimmer and the oval ones are Goddess candles with gold shimmer (they are really beautiful in person!!) and they are Orange Spice scented. I made a total of 34 and still have a big block left to make more tomorrow! I ordered 10 lbs from Bramble Berry's and thought it would make about 32 but I was so wrong, these are very good sized soaps and I will probably end up with about 46 or so when I am done!
Not bad for a first timer, eh? I think they will be appreciated and liked well by the recipients of my baskets and I'll post pics of the finished gift baskets when they are done :-)
