Wedding crafts: thank you card and place card tree

Thank you card for my mom.


A card for my mom.


I put stickers (yeah, I cheated) and wrote in sharpie on a transparency, then tied that to printed cardstock, and used vellum to write on inside.


I wrapped it in vellum instead of an envelope.

I stole this from Martha Stewart or something like that. A place card tree.


As you can see, my apartment is a disaster area. Anyways, guest names are written on leaves (green for a steak entree, white for veggie), and tied to branches, with one branch per table (actually, we could fit 2 tables per branch).


Detail of a branch. The greeters at the reception will help the guests find and unwind their name leaf and bring it back to their seat.
