Meat!

I love all kinds of religious art and kitsch, but I'm a little bored with the holographic Jesus pictures everyone seems to have.  I need two pieces of art for a specific spot in my kitchen (and I ran out of pom-pons, so I couldn't make as many flowers as I wanted to!), so I decided to reinterpret the Sacred Heart...by making a Sacred Steak.  Yeah.  It's a felt collage, and I used glitter, glue, and nail polish for the sparkly bits.  I'm not thrilled with the thorns--I made them waaaaay too short--but I'm making another one for a friend, so I can correct that little defect



I'm working on a...um...a crucified turkey.  I probably won't post that one here, because someone is sure to be offended, but if you'd like to see it, I'll post pix in my personal journal when it's finished.
