Hey everyone! Long time watcher, first time poster.

I made some accessories to go with my yukata, which is a cotton kimono people wear to festivals and parties in Japan. You can see a picture of me in the entire emsemble here (I'm in Harajuku in Tokyo with a cosplayer).
It's hard to see some of the details, but I made the drawstring bag, the straps for my sandals, and I twisted the front of my obi and tied it with a strip of the same fabric.
The bag I made is reversible. Some of you might recognize the fabric as shibori...well, it's not real shibori, but it still looks pretty nice, huh? Shibori is a tie-dying technique common in Japan.
Outside of bag.
Reversed.

I also altered a pair of too-small jeans--I added a panel of fun cheesy Japanese fabric to the outer seams. You can see the picture here. Unfortunately, I ended up making them too big for myself! Doh!

Thanks for reading! I'd love some feedback.
