Aug. 27th, 2004 04:40 pmI'm making (more) wings, except this time I'm not using nylon stockings for the membrane. Instead, I'm using some other sheer material that I'd like to glue to the wire (which is plastic coated).
I've tried hot glue. - It looks REALLY ugly and horrible
I've tried some random adhesive/sealant I found which I thought would be like E-6000. - It's a bit better... but still not what I want. Too stringy/messy/gloppy.
I tried Mod Podge, too. - I want a glue that holds better initially, that won't let things slide around.
I looked in the memories and the ThisorThat website said to use 3M 77 spray. So I guess I'll go out and get some to try.
In the mean time, does anyone have any other glue suggestions? Or any tips for using the 3M 77? Thanks!
