I posted a few days ago about using temporary tattoos for art projects. So, I took the idea and ran with it. I made a fine trip to the dollar store and scooped up a bunch of cool tattoos in the kid section. This project was for my daughter's room and for my bathroom so it wasn't a bad selection of project oriented tattoos. So I'm long done with the project but, smart girl I am, I took pictures for ya'll while I was working on it. So here comes my tutorial. *= )
So for my project you need
A plastic or glass container of your choice. Mine is clear and plastic.

A nice selection of fake tattoos to use. The options are endless with this.

A paint brush of your choice. Sponge works but a nice fine haired one is best.
A clear sealer. I used a brush on liquid... you make the choice for your porject.

A small sponge. Mine was from a compressed sponge craft sheet that I cut up smaller.

A small pair of scissors for cutting the tattoos.
A cup with water.
Time... you get this one.
1. Take your container and clean it off well.
2. Cut out the tattoo(s) that you want to use with the scissors.

3. Decide where you want them to go.
4. Remove the plastic protective sheet from each one right befor you apply them.
5. Place the tattoo on the desired place on the container. Rub it a bit so it sticks well and there are no bubbles. Once you rub it the tattoo will not be able to be removed with out destroying it.

6. Wet the small sponge with some water.
7. Press the sponge onto the tattoo so that it is soaked with water. You don't have to hold it down. Just let the water from the sit on it so it loosens from the paper back and adheres to the object.

8. Slip off the paper slowly so you don't move the tattoo.
9. With the sponge, make sure all the edges and the entire tattoo is smooth by lightly patting the edges and smoothing out any bumps.

10. Do the same thing to all your other tattoos you plan to use.
11. Let it dry completely.

12. Pour some liquid clear sealer into a dish and load your brush with it. Slowly coat your container with the sealer. (You may use spray instead if that's what you normally do to protect projects.) You will apply several layers, letting eachone dry before applying another.
13. Let the sealer dry over night so it it nice and hard.
14. Use as you please.

The fruit is for my bathroom and the flowers for my daughter's room.
