ink on fabric?

hello ladies,

i have a question, i've tried using a stencil on shirts, and i'm no good with them. i'm not extremely skilled with an exacto.

i do enjoy painting, though. soi was wondering if i could water down paint (with or without fabric additive?) to free-hand on a shirt, would it stay? does the paint have to be super thick to stay on? and second, could i use regular ink? i use it al lot for art, but haven't gotten it on any of my clothes to see if it washes off. i have these brands in my possession:
