Made from two t-shirts (black XL men's, stretchy yellow one from the 7th grade) and some leftover black jersey fabric. Basically, I made a long, fitted tube top, cut out yellow strips, sewed the strips on, and stencilled "CAUTION" using screenprinting ink. Then I added an asymmetrical ruffle and sewed a long bit of ribbon at the top middle, and voila.
Here's me looking pleased with myself/like I'm about to hurl.
I've shown it to some people and they seem to have developed a love/hate relationship with it. Personally, I'm quite proud of it but I still think it looked better in sketch form (it was originally just a sketch but I thought, hey, why not actually make it?). Don't know if I'll be wearing it out, though.
Then again, I could go as caution tape for halloween!
