Quick question, I'm in love with piped coats (a la Marc by Marc) with big buttons and I have a thrift store coat I want to add piping to. How do I do this without:

a) tearing out all the seams and then adding piping, resewing, and possibly ruining it or

b) just attatching the piping to the wrong side for a very unprofessional effect whenever a hem turns over and everybody can see the raw edge of the piping.
