Nurse purse

Meep, second post today. x_x;;

I got bored and decided to try and make something. I've made a few Jordy bags before but I thought I'd try to make a flap on the front this time instead of it having an open top. I forgot to put interfacing in it though, and it's sewed a bit crooked, but for a first attempt at this it didn't turn out too bad. I call it...nurse purse! Haha because it's made from that material that nurse's scrubs are made out of. (Almost everyone in my family works with/around hospital stuff so we have a lot of this material...)

And to show how big it is. Don't mind me or my messy room. Yes, I know a poster fell in the background, heh. I seriously need to clean it up...

But I made a normal Jordy bag the other day, I think it's the best one I've done so far. :) (And what's super cool is the fact that the only money I put into it was very cheap interfacing and thread!)

The velcro isn't really gold or red, it's white. Stupid reflection.

But while I'm posting, I have a question. Which do you prefer to use, interfacing that's fusible or the sew-on kind? I've only tried fusible but I always put it on the wrong side and it sticks to the rag and I have to do it all over again and I'm frustrated with it, is the sew-on kind easier/better?
