Apr. 6th, 2004 10:45 pmI've been making a scarf for myself but felt like procrastinatinating so I made a scarf for a barbie. The barbie's wearing a swim suit because it's the first one I grabbed from my bin o' barbies.

All three 18" dolls received scarves as well.

Made with my mom's help. Sewed a tube, stuffed, and tied the ends. WE made two for my day-bed.

Made from buttons and stickers. The "J", "A", and "M" ones are for my intitals.

Sorry I don't have a better picture, it's now my brother's. Since my old room had no closet (it was a bedroom then dining room then bedroom) and an extra doorway I inherited a metal wardrobe. My mom and I painted it light blue and the doors are chalkboard piant.
I was at a labor day parade today and there was a group of jazz steppers. The dude that would start them and the percussion group was sitting on the curb next to me and talked to me a little. When he left he gave me two pieces of a broken drumstick (it's missing a third still) and the whole one from the set. I want to do something with them because of the randomness of my receiving them. If any way possible nothing permanent because I like to keep things as much as I can in the original shape, and I don't want to paint them either.

There's the size differences of them.
