I'm leaving tomorrow night to take a ferry from Juneau, AK to Bellingham, WA. It's going to be three oh-so-very long days on a freaking boat, and I know I'm going to go crazy if I'm unable to make something. The nice thing about being on a boat is the fact that I'll be able to take needles and the such, but I don't want to go overboard with it.
I need help coming up with ideas as to what I can do/make that won't be messy or complicated. We're supposed to have a state room, but if things fall through we'll be camping out on deck in a tent.
I'd also like any ideas for extremely simple meals to prepare. We'll be taking a cooler with us, and we'll have access to hot water, but not to a stove or anything. I can't stand ferry food, and I'd like to eat things other than snacks.
Any ideas or info would be fantastic!
