twin gifts?

my friend is having twins (we're not sure of the genders yet) in march! i'm starting early on gifts because i take forever on craft projects and also because there are quite a few things i want to make (all of which will be posted, of course).

i had several thoughts on what i wanted to make: the hooded towels i previously posted about, tie-dyed onesies, onesies with fun 80s iron-ons, and washcloth puppets.

but i was wondering if anyone had any ideas for things specific to twins? i don't want identical gifts (because i don't believe in dressing them the same) but complimentary gifts would be cool, if that makes sense.

feel free to suggest boy gifts, girl gifts, or boy/girl gifts!
