Project Update - Raging Inferno Scarf!
Sep. 15th, 2004 05:08 pmTitle: Raging Inferno Scarf
Inspiration: Nanook!
Reason: Believe it or not, I needed another scarf. One that was a bit smaller and fluffier and brighter...ok maybe I really didn't need another one...
Comments: I went to Art Fibers in San Francisco and after being thoroughly overwhelmed with the selection, I found myself thinking that I had better come up with a project because the yarn budget is not large enough to justify skeins and skeins of cool yarn. I kept coming back to this yarn - it is so soft and fluffy and not made out of wool (too itchy for a scarf). I decided it would make the perfect scarf and make my hair look like it is on fire! It was pretty fast knitting, even though the fuzziness encouraged increases and dropped stitches, it worked out in the end.
