Quick question for Joann emplyees

Hi ladies. I was wondering, if I have a 50% off coupon and want to buy yarn with it (several skeins of one and the same type and color), would the 50% be only one one skein, or on the whole batch?
I need to buy quite a bit of yarn and want to know whether it'll be worth my time to go to Joanns for it or go where I know the yarn's a little cheaper at regular price.
I'd appreciate an answer today, as tomorrow I'll be shopping, one way or the other.
