Flax Weaving
Sep. 18th, 2004 05:03 pmToday I went to a craft show, and the only decent thing there was a women with a stall selling woven flax kete (bags) and other such things, including this bangle that I bought and then tried to replicate.

The one on the left is, of course, the one I bought. The flax has dried, but the maker has dyed half of it green. Mine hasn't dried yet, but when it does it'll be that pale colour.

Hah, it's pretty pitiful compared to the real one, but I'm proud nonetheless at my first effort.
