i made a rug!

i think this is my very first post in this community, although i've been a member for over a year.

i just finished making an area rug for my living room, and i'm super duper proud of it.


















my roommate reveling in the comfyness of our new rug.

...that's just our pet skeleton.


all it took was a bunch of rag rugs and some patience. i sewed the rugs together with double-stranded coordinating thread. the seam in the middle was done with aqua yarn, which matches really well and looks like part of the original rugs. i think i'm actually going to add two sections to make it cover more of the floor.



anyway, just thought i'd share.
