Actually, my sister does. I have a crapload of sparkly purple yarn I harvested from a sweater, and since her favorite color is purple I told her I'd make her something from said yarn. She doesn't wear scarves and doesn't carry purses, so she requested mittens. Therein lies my problem. I've never attempted mittens. I don't have any clue where to start with mittens. I could wing something, but they'd probably end up as two entirely different animals instead of two matched handwarmers.

I've looked in the FAQ/Memories and the only mitten specific one, the instructions were long gone.

SO....
Does anyone know where I can get a good crochet (MUST BE CROCHET, I CAN'T KNIT FOR CRAP) pattern for a pair of mittens???
