this is my favorite necklace...i wear it all the time, and now the wire it's on has become a little gross and rusty from sweat/body oil/etc, as you can see in the picture [the wire should be shiney silver...not dull brown. ;P]. i wanna put it on a new wire, but i don't know what kind of "wire" to look for or where to start looking for it [online or in a store]...is it just called memory wire? i've heard that term in here before. i know there are lots of talent jewelry makers in this community, so i thought some of you might be able to help!...

and this is how the shell flower is attached:

would it maybe be easier to remove the shell flower from the big round metal piece [it's just super-glued, it seems] and put it on stainless steel or silver so that i don't have this tarnishing problem again?
