I know how some of you hate text only posts, so I'll put it all behind a cut, so those of you that don't want to see it, don't have to.
Basically, my post consists of wonderings about little boxes, and professional book making.
[edit] Addition of colonial dress pictures.
So. Numero Uno.
I, as a female, use tampons. Hurrah. My preferred method of pluggage are ob tampons. So, they come in these ADORABLE little boxes that I hate to recycle because I feel like I could use them for something. I've got about 3 sizes at the moment. Anybody have ideas on what I could use them for? I'd love to paint them a base color and then do other designs on it, but I have no idea what I'd use it for. I was thinking I could use them as little mini filing systems for my extra stamps in my collection, but I'm not sure if that would work especially well. Thanks for any ideas!
Numero dos.
A while back a girl posted a book of photos she had taken, that was professionaly printed and bound by a company that she found online. I'd really like to do something like that for my Mom for Christmas. I've done homemade books for her in the past, but I'd really like to do something that looks gorgeous, leather cover, and all. Does anybody know this company? (I'm positive it's not cafepress.com)
Anyways, thanks for the help!
I had to dress up as a character for a history project. Thus, I whipped out a pattern I had from a 7th grade halloween costume, made it as long as I could, stitched up a 2 hour petticoat by hand the night before my presentation, and voila! A colonial dress. :)
