Hotel = Home?

So i need your crafty minds to help me with ideas...My mom just got a new job where she travels a lot and she said that she gets lonely in the hotel rooms because they aren't personal. So i told her i'd make her a little 'home sweet home' kit to take with her. Obviously it has to be light and easy to take with her on planes or in the car. Here are my ideas so far and anything you can think of would be awesome!

- Homemade knitted blanket
- Home-y smelling candles (like, spice ones)
- Family pictures (what kind of light picture frames could i make / buy?)
- One of my dad's shirts w/ his cologne on it (she said she got lonely at night, i figured she could curl up with this)
