hi,

i posted awhile ago asking how to decorate the outside of an altoids tin, & i got ideas about clay, paints, decoupage, & such. ive decided to paint it with nail polish. yes, i know, it chips, its not heat resistant, the smell (i actually love the smell of nail polish..), & all the cons, but thats my decision. what ive discovered, is that the nail polish shows up better on the tin if i scrape off the label paint.. you know, how it says "altoids", the logo, ingredients, & such. the labels. yeah, i want to scrape it all off. i tried using a key to scrape it all off, but many scratches are left on the tin. now, i dont mind the scratches at all. but using the key.. itll take forever. its quite tedious, & it will be difficult to get all the nooks & crannies. yes, it may be an amateur question, but i havent done many crafty things in my life like all you young ladies (& boys) have done. so i dont know the basics.

in short, what can i use to scrape off the label(s) of an altoids tin?

ty for your time!@
