Project Update: Reversible Totes!
Oct. 28th, 2004 09:55 amTitle: Reversible Totes!
Inspiration: I was just the labor...for this pattern
Reason: I met someone who wanted custom totes for her knitting projects!
Comments: The totes were fun to make! I had been looking for an excuse to learn more about welt pockets and the opening of the reversible totes is made the same way, so I was happy to make them. I used craft interfacing (which is thicker) and it stands up by itself pretty well. When I did the final pressing, the fabric on the inside of the pinkish tote kind of bubbled up a little bit and I couldn't get all the bubbles out. I am not sure if it had something to do with the kind of interfacing of a combination of the fabric and the interfacing or something else entirely. Overall I like how they turned out - I might even make some more!
