Can we say fairy?

(everyone needs a portrait of themselves as a fairy lol)
I made my First Full Fairy Costume this Halloween. I was a Fall fairy....I will post better pictures of my whole costume when i get them developed, but for now i have a picture of the basic idea under the cut. Hope you like.

*My wings are made out of Wire, Brown Duct tape, Knee High panty hose, Glitter, and Fake leaves.
*I bought my ears at Spencer's for like 3$’s (they were the only thing i had on that i didn’t make or fix up)
*I made my Shoes (even thought you can’t see them) out of those granny slippers you buy for couple of dollars, and dyed them to match my corset.
*My corset i bought at a yard sale for 75 cents, I re-did the metal boning in the front so that it fit better, and re-paneled some of it. Then dyed it the burgundy/purple color.
* My skirt was your basic handkerchief skirt, with 3 layers of netting over it...Very fun to twirl in.
*The shirt i mum made, because well, i suck at sewing from a pattern....
* I put my hair in bunches of curls and covered the whole thing in tons of gold glitter.
* I think that just about covers it.
