Does anyone have any information on corking (also known as spool knitting)? There's hardly any information on the internet. I remember learning it way back and enjoying it a lot (mainly because I was good at it). What could you make that is useful? I know you can make simple things such as long knitted snakes, but I have no use for them.

Another question. Were you self taught how to sew/knit/crochet, or did someone teach you? Would you recommend any websites with instructions, or programs?
