i am taking a trip to NYC next week to visit my best friend from college! well, recently, we both took up knitting. she just moved to the city a few months ago, and hasn't had much of a chance to really explore many craft stores...i live in middle-of-nowhere, florida, and there is not really any place to get good yarn down here. so we were hoping to find some place in NYC where we could stock up for various christmas presents!

so, just to recap that really long story, if you know of any good places to get yarn in NYC, please help a craftsista out!...and addresses, or just streets, or even a general vicinity would help us immensely, if you know them off-hand!
