about bobbins...

allright. i just obtained a vintage Singer sewing machine from 1958. Model: 185J. problem? no bobbins. the ones it came with are for like, every brand BUT singer. (i'm not really going to bitch about that though because it was free)

now, i've seen many places online to buy bobbins for model number 185. although mine is 185J, do you think they will still fit? i cannot find anything to buy specifically for the model i have. also, the one i have looks exactly like a regular 185.

and... i'd hate to waste five bucks on bobbins that don't friggen fit.
