craftgrrl | Making cupcakes with Alex

My mom, John, Alex and I made cupcakes for a Halloween party.

My mom and I made the batter and decorated them. John put on the nerd sprinkles. Alex supervised. Our cupcakes were Yellow cake and Devil's food chocolate cake. I don't recall the brand. Some cupcakes were just yellow or chocolate others were mixed. Some had mini resses peanut butter cups in them, others had nerds in them and others had no candy surprise. Half were iced with Cheesecake icing and the other half with chocolate. All had nerd sprinkles and pink and green crystal sprinkles. They were a hit at the party. The chocolate in the candy melted down well and made the cupcakes very moist leaving a peanut butter chunk. I think that is a good solution to making extra chocolatey cupcakes...add chocolate cansy. I think hersey kisses would be the perfect size. I have no pictures of the final cupcakes. They looked prety uniform after the icing and sprinkles were on. Just thought ya'll could benifit from my cupcake experiment.

My mom is the one by the sink and I am the one by the large butcher block with a baby holding onto my leg.
