My New Circle Skirt & Necklaces
Nov. 12th, 2004 11:32 pmHi guys, this is my first post here but I've been watching forever (so much inspiration to be found)! Since it's my second day of summer vacation (I'm in NZ) I thought I'd share what I've been doing with my new sewing machine and my spare time.

I didn't use a pattern b/c I'm "adventurous" and thought my math skills were sooo good that I could just wing it, I managed to cut out a perfect circle with the help of some string & pencils....

but I had a lot of problems b/c I cut the waist hole too big which = a lot of time trying to fix it up and make the sides even. I still have to buy snaps so it will close up properly (I've safety pinned it here).

As for the necklace, I just strung up a ton of beads, only leaving enough for a 1 layer necklace or a 2 layer bracelet.

here is the second string of beads that can be worn as either a necklace or a bracelet

ALL PUT TOGETHER
