So this weekend I went to an auction with my family. I ended up scoring a 1958 Singer sewing machine, desk style for (get this) only 2 bucks!!! Went home and tried it out and it worked perfectly like new! It even has the original Singer instruction booklet and all the little do-dabs that came in the 'singer' box. I'm majorly excited about this. $2 and it bought me a world of joy! :)

Anyways, so my question is...
I will be a SUPER UBER new person to sewing. I believe all I could possibly make right now with my level of expertise, my time I have, and the amount of patience I have is pj bottoms, simple skirts, pillows, and some clothes for Mona (my dog).

I was wondering if any of ya'll knew of some fabulous beginning sewing websites. Or perhaps any tutorials? The more pictures and information the better. Any thing that can help me begin sewing and giving me step by step instructions would be awesome. (btw I'm looking for websites not books. i really don't want to have to shell out cash that i don't have.)

Thanks! :)
