Doggy bead and doggy dolly
Nov. 15th, 2004 11:31 pmLittle doggie bead:

Its for my boyfriend. The little bead-hole goes through the ears.

Too bad its all sticky and covered in dirt now.. since the spray sealent reacted with the acrylic paint badly. I need to find something to strip it with, and repaint it.
Its 1/2 inch long.
Aaaaalso.. I made this for him:

(I didn't make the little green jar its holding, just the blue Malamute dolly. ;3)

Before paint (and before I gave him a little more of a tummy ;3):

Detail images before paint:

And finally...
With little machine-sewn pants to cover his whitey tighties.

(don't worry, I reattached his lost toenails) The little "stump" behind him is one of the supports from when I was baking him. I painted it, too, and made it look more like a foresty stump.
I'm planning on making another pair of pants, that are sewn a little better (the bottom cuffs were done without a stretch-stitch and didn't turn out very pretty), and also maybe with a little bit more stitched-on details, like pocket-details or something.
The whole figure is 6 and 1/4 inches tall. He loves doggies (especially Malamutes), and he loves the color blue. So I made him a blue Malamute doll/sculpture out of polymer clay (Super Sculpey) after his character, named Malameux.
