ok ok question 1:

I'm making a scarve for someone for xmas and right now i'm practicing the pattern on acrylic yarn but I dont know how comfortable it would be so I was wondering what would be a nice soft yarn to use? not something like chenile (sp?) just something nice and not itchy.

question #2:

I'm Jewish. I was talking to my friend about hannukah and he's all "I WANT HANNUKAH CUZ I WANT PRESENTS" yeah you know how people are, all jealous of us and our 8 NIGHTS bwaha. Anyhoo...so I'm giving him hannukah. But each night our presents will have a theme. One of the themes is things that start with "Q" and I'm having trouble thinking of what to get/make for him! No, no not a quilt (I know you crazy crafter too well...mwaha.) cuz Im not experienced in the quilting area and I want something iono...that he'd like/use/be like "omg thats hilarious/the greatest idea ever".
